Granddaughter's crafts~

Today I taught my granddaughter
to sew a Valentine Heart.
She did a real good job!!!
Then we made hearts with glitter!
What gal doesn't love glitter~
I am so happy she wants to learn crafts!
We must teach your younger
generation our craft!

Pink Pinecone with pearls

Pink pine cones are it!
Pink pine cones with pearls...
WOW!
I have a bag of pine cones
just sitting ....waiting....
to be painted!
I am going to be working on
plenty of Christmas projects
all this year...
not waiting till the last minute...
I am pretty sure it will be a pink
Christmas again for me this year too!!!
*Happy Sunday*

Christmas Stocking

What else needs to be said about
Christmas stockings that are
so danity, and romantic?
Unless you say...
make more of these please!
hehehe~
~ Jeri

Ice Cream Cones

Guess where these landed?
Yup you guessed it ...
on my Pink and White tree last
Christmas.
One of my grand daughters wants me
to make her some.
It's on my list of things to do
which seems to be getting longer daily...
Just wished I had made more of these.

Goldilocks And Three Bears Finger Puppets

While I was at finger puppets
I decided to make this set for my
4 year old grand daughter.
She liked these it seemed.
~Jeri

Animal Finger Puppets

My grand son travels to Michigan
alot with Momma and Daddy to see
his other set of grands.
So while in the car I thought
I would make something for him
to play with.
As a child I always loved
finger puppets.
I know the world is more advanced
and more technology minded
but nothing wrong with
the toys of long ago.
Kept me busy for hours.
(smiles)

Felt Mittens

I made these originally to go on the
table with plastic utensils.
These mittens could be used
as a tree ornament too.
This is very beginners level in crafts,
but they were just too dang cute!!!

Dora Blanket

My grand daughter that just
turned 1 in Nov is obsessed
with Dora.
So mam-maw made her this
blanket and a little
snuggly blanket to carry around.
(not pictured)
Not sure why I didn't take a picture
of that...
This was one of the easiest blankets
I ever made.
~Happy Birthday Ki Ki~
~Jeri

Black and White Blanket

Trying to list some of the
things I have made in the past here.
This blanket was a gift for a friend.
It took me forever to make it...
an entire summer.
It was hand stitched on the
front...I usually use the machine
but I wanted this one made
with a lil extra love.
Do you ever wonder what people
do with things you spend a great
deal of time on?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I know I do.
Thanks for looking.
~Jeri

Christmas Lap Blanket

I made this last in 2008
and in 2009 I had purple theme,
and last year my theme was pink and white
so this didn't get any use for two years.
Oh well maybe next year.
~Jeri

Fabric Roses

I held this one up to my hair,
as it could be used on a headband.

You will probably see me list
alot of these as I love to make them.
A little time consuming because
the petals of the big rose have
to be held over a flame...each petal!
The uses for these are endless!
Give them a try~
~Jeri

Soup Can and Clothespins

Who I ask you would of ever thought
that a soup can and a few clothespins would be this darling~
I had to make one...I am the kind of person if
I see something I like I just have to try to make it!!!
My grand daughter wants one...lol..
and she's only 8.
I think I have glitter fever...
if I could I would glitter my whole house...
I wished I was kidding...LOL~

I can't wait to make more of these.
I have got so many more ideas... :)

I made this little purse
from a jean pocket off a pair of jeans.
Gave it to my grand daughter.
She loved it.
~ Jeri

Felt Flowers

These work great in scrapbooks,
hair barrettes, or any kind of ornamentation
to your craft project.
~ Jeri

Paper Wreath

My first try at making this.
Was pretty easy to do.
I think it's pretty.
You can make them
any size.
Happy Crafting

Candy crafts (not real candy)

I made this candy for my grand daughter's
birthday party.
Her theme was Willie Wonka.
The party turned out really cute.
My daughter put loads of effort into this party.
~Jeri

Rag Garland

Who knew that ripping sheets up and tying them
to white Christmas lights would make
such a soft lighting.
Simply beautiful.
Love it~
~Jeri

Ribbon Flowers

This was sooooooooo easy to make.
A little ribbon, buttons, wire and
floral tape...wallaaaaaaaah
your done!
These sat outside on my back
porch all summer.
This year I will be make some
in pastels for sure!
~Jeri

Lace Potpourri Bag

I just love this.
I didn't want to get rid of it so I kept it.
I should make more I know.
I love all things lacey tho.
Thanks for stopping by.

This seems to be the rage.
So I of course had to try my hand at it.
I just love them.
I made another set and will be
posting them soon too!
~Jeri

Revamped Poinsetta's

So I had all these poinsettia's
and I wanted to have a pink Christmas.
So I painted the poinsettia's pink.
Worked for me!!!
Thanks for looking
~Jeri

Door Knob Hanger

I made this for my Aunt for Christmas
to hang on her door knob...
but she hung it on her wall instead.
I tried taking a picture of it on the door knob
but the picture didn't turn out so well.
I was really pleased with this.
I am going to make one for my door
soon.

~Jeri

I made these pillows for my sons and their wives...

for Christmas this last year.
I hope they liked them.

Dolls ~ Angel and Victorian

This doll is an angel,
I ended up putting wings on it.
I don't have a picture of that.
I made this for a lady who was
battling a health issue.
It was a surprize gift
as she collected angels.
I never met her before but
she wrote me a nice note and
said she loved it.

As promised I would show you more
of the dolls I make.

I love making them but it takes
me bout 2 weeks to make
each doll.
I still need to make one for my daughter and 2

of my granddaughters.
I have considered making them
to sell.
Thanks for looking.
